Sony Ericsson’s Live with Walkman Smartphone Released in India


For fans of Sony Ericsson, the company has recently launched its official Live with Walkmansmartphone in India. The unit, priced at Rs. 14,549, runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and features a 1GHz Qualcomm Scorpion processor. This is the second Walkman series for the Android platform; the first being the Sony Ericsson W8. An Android 4.0 ICS update will be available for the Live With Walkman soon.
Other features of the Walkman phone include a 3.2-inch TFT capacitive touch display, 480x320p screen resolution, 5MP rear camera, 0.3MP secondary camera, 512MB RAM, and a 2GB memory card. As for its battery, the Walkman phone has 1200 mAh battery, which is capable of 14 hours on 2G network and 6 hours on 3G. The Live with Walkman is capable of 3G, Wi-Fi with DLNA support, GPS, and Bluetooth connectivity settings.
The unit comes in two different colors—white and black. As an introductory promo, the SE Live with Walkman is available with a free premium headset apart from its usual headset.
