Notion Ink's Adam II Revealed
Bengaluru-based Notion Ink has teamed up with Texas Instruments (TI) for its second-generation Adam II Android tablet. Adam II will be using TI's OMAP44xx processor along with other components like Wi-Link 7.0 and Phoenix Audio Power Amplifiers. Aakash: A Historical Mistake By Indian Govt?
After reviewing the world's cheapest tablet PC, Aakash, Syed Firdaus Ashraf of Rediff.com wrote, “Here's my advice: (excuse me the scream but) DON'T BUY AKASH TABLET. Period.” A similar verdict was given by Jaimon Joseph of CNN-IBN, who said, “For the price it is being offered at, the Aakash is probably great value for money. But the question is, is it the best our students deserve. Apple Co-Founder Wozniak Prefers Android To iPhone
Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak likes Android smartphones better that his company's iPhone. Despite the fact that Google's Android is the biggest competitor of Apple, Wozniak admits that the open source platform is better in many ways. According to a Daily Beast report, Wozniak says that Android scores better than iPhone in certain situations like voice commands and GPS. He adds, “I have a lower success rate with Siri than I do with the voice built into the Android, and that bothers me. I’ll be saying, over and over again in my car, 'Call the Lark Creek Steak House,' and I can’t get it done. Then I pick up my Android, say the same thing, and it's done. Plus I get navigation.
